(20 April 2015) EPSU and the European Water Movements organised an action on World Water Day. The internal TV station of the European Parliament put some tough questions to the Hungarian MEP Gyorgy Schopflin, currently involved in reporting on the usefulness of the instrument of the ECI.

In response to the lack of ambition of the European Commission, he agrees that the European Commission has been dithering and should have taken action. Mr. Schopflin comes from one of the countries that has surpassed the minimum threshold of signatures and one of the parties whose leader supported Right2Water during the European elections.
The European Parliament will vote shortly on the  report on the ECI Right2Water prepared by MEP Lynn Boylan.
