In an effort to resolve a number of outstanding issues, management and a dele gation of the unions met again, 14 February 2005. A number of issues were clarified and it was agreed to explore the possibilities to hold a meeting in June. This would bring together Estonian and Bulgarian representatives to meet with their UK colleagues.
A delegation of the UK unions organising workers in United Utilities and Jan Willem Goudriaan for EPSU met with management in the companies headquarters 13 May 2004. The company has water operations in Estonia, Bulgaria, Poland as well as in Australia, Philippines, US and other countries. It employs 17000 workers with 350 in Tallinn and 1000 in Sofia.
